THE TORAH IS NO LONGER FULLY APPLICABLE

TORAH
About the Falsely “Torah-observant” -Jewish and Gentile Messianic Judaism,Firstly what does Jesus’ Jewish identity have to do with anything? This is never magnified in the New Testament.

Jesus is the Savior of all who will repent and submissively trust in him. Rev. 7 states there will be people in God’s kingdom from every tribe, people, language and nation all redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus.

Of what nationality Messiah, Jesus Christ was as He walked the earth is totally irrelevant to the gentiles.

Jesus was born into a Jewish family, but he was not a real Jew as his father God was not a Jew.

There is no where in the New Testament Bible or in the Old Testament Bible where are we to call Jesus other than his given Greek name Jesus Christ, and rather not some Hebrew derivation of it too now. Now when I see people start to use Jewish titles for Jesus, being ashamed to mention the name Jesus the Christ directly, I really start to believe that they too now have gone of the deep end.. for the devil hates the name of Jesus and so do his followers. I get bothered also by the Christians who do not mention the Holy Spirit often.. What fool still says, “Jesus is Not His Name?” Obviously, not somebody who knows the Scriptures in either the Old or New Testament.

ALL OF THE ANCIENT GREEK MANUSCRIPTS CALL HIM JESUS. ALL cross references call Jesus by God’s personal name in Hebrew which is “YAHWEH”. When Peter, on the Day of Pentecost said, quoting Joel 2: 33 as only one reference to Jesus, said, ‘And it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ (Acts 2: 21), where it says in Hebrew, “For it shall be, all who call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved” (Heb. 3: 32). “Yahweh” is God’s personal name in Hebrew and it is “Jesus” in Greek (‘transliterated from the Greek: ‘Iesous) which means “Yahweh is salvation”. Nothing could be more clearer than that. His name is never “YAHUWSHUWA” which is just about the silliest and stupidest name that has ever been made up. It’s enough to make one laugh and not serious enough to take seriously. It demonstrates a complete lack of any scholarship at all.

The English translators of the KJV created a composite name in an attempt to go along with the Jewish tradition of not speaking the Name of Yahweh and when ever they saw “The Name” they will not speak it for fear of being cursed by God, they would say “Lord”. They put together the consonants of Yahweh and the the vowels of Adonai to make up Jehovah which is not really God’s Name. At least they explained why they did it even though it is not accurate. These fools go from on extreme of error to another extreme. http://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/2011/11/16/who-is-jesus-christ-is-he-a-jew-gentile-or-neither-now/

The  Greek New Testament is by far the best-attested (and best preserved) literature of antiquity, with manuscript evidence dating back to the first century.

For example, the Magdalen Fragments  are written in a style of  Koine Greek that was current in the 1st Century A.D. during the very lives of the apostles. Indeed, ancient papyrus expert Carsten Thiede and other scholars regard certain fragments from the Gospel of Matthew to be an eyewitness account.   We have some anecdotal evidence of a   gospel that underlies the others gospel accounts,   but it is clear — both from history and from the textual evidence we have – that the Holy Spirit chose to use Koine (i.e., “common”) Greek as the language to reach out to the world.  This is true, incidentally, of the Torah and Nakh, which were   also  translated into Koine Greek (i.e., the Septuagint, or LXX).  Many of the oldest Biblical fragments among the Dead Sea Scrolls correspond more closely with the LXX than with the (later) Masoretic text, and indeed we have evidence of Koine Greek manuscripts that were discovered in the Qumran caves themselves .

Now when Jesus went into the synagogue and was handed the scroll of Isaiah that that scroll was written in Greek?and the the New Testament Gospels do include non-Greek words in the text (spelled with Greek letters). And some of these words are Aramaic ?So, while Jesus’ use of them may reflect  his Aramaic speech, we can’t even be 100% sure of this. And we do not have in the New Testament Gospels a quotation of Jesus in Hebrew ..  Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.) The so-called “biblical case” for the Hebrew speaking Jesus rests mainly on one verse in, not in the Gospels, but in Acts of the Apostles. You  absurdly cannot make a major statement with one fact, one verse.. when you have a whole Greek New testament.. one cannot use this as proof that he always spoke Hebrew, or mainly spoke Hebrew, or even spoke Hebrew in any other circumstance. In no other place does the New Testament tell us that Jesus spoke Hebrew.

The fact that the Gospels are written in Greek shows that   most of the earliest Christians, including some who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry, knew Greek and used it often, perhaps as their first language.

Many Jewish writings from the era of Jesus were written in Greek, including works such as 2 Maccabees and 1 Esdras. Other Hebrew writings were being translated into Greek in Jerusalem (the book of Esther, for example, in 114 B.C.). Speaking of Jerusalem, scholars have found some ninety Greek inscriptions on ossuaries (boxes for bones) that date to around the time of Jesus and were found in or around Jerusalem. Ever since Alexander the Great conquered Judea  in 332 B.C., Greek had been the language of government and, increasingly, commerce and scholarship. Though Aramaic continued to be spoken by many, Greek grew in its popularity and influence. In the time of Jesus, well-educated Jews, mainly those of the upper classes, would have known and used Greek. So would those who were involved in trade or government Get wise and learn the truth.   Jesus was not handed the dead sea scrolls.. he read from the Greek Scroll Bible.

The presence and pervasiveness of Greek in Judea is demonstrated by a discovery in the Nahal Hever region of the Judean Desert near the Dead Sea. In a cave, a scroll was found that contains substantial portions of the minor prophets in Greek. The so-called Nahal Hever Minor Prophets Scroll, dated around the time of Jesus, shows the influence and popularity of Greek, even among highly religious Jew..     In Matthew 8:5-13, for example, Jesus entered into dialogue with a Roman centurion. The centurion almost certainly spoke in Greek. And, as Matthew tells the story, he and Jesus spoke directly, without a translator. The same could be said about Jesus’ conversation with Pontius Pilate prior to his crucifixion (Matthew 27:11-14; John 18:33-38). If Jesus knew enough Greek to converse with a Roman centurion and a Roman governor, where did he learn it? at Home and in school.. Jesus’ hometown was a short walk from Sepphoris, which was a major city and one in which Greek was spoken.

Christianity is a new Religion that is not an updated Judaism, or a revised Judaism.. Most Messianic Jews too now are also still going to hell.. as they are firstly not willing to give up all to follow Jesus . For some Jews Jesus must have spoken Hebrew to some of the people, otherwise some how his mission as the Messiah would have been deficient. Some Jews are were worried that if Jesus had not  spoke Greek he did not care for the Jews basically.. That is about right next…

No one still even knows what the Jewish Culture was like at the time of Jesus since the Romans burned all the Jewish books and Library and none exist today thus..  People who are still falsely  hung up on a Jewish culture,  scripture still need the Holy Spirit to explain it anyway and most people do not have Him, the Jews especially..

Why are some of the Jews mostly falsely so argumentative and hung up on a Hebrew Jesus? when most of the Jews have rejected him anyway and are mostly going to hell.. Read all of my  my posts and learn.. and stop trying to justify any perversions of their reality.. There is no existing  evidence of a Hebrew Gospel of Matthew.. never has been and anyone has yet  had  failed to prove it too..  The fact that Jesus may have spoken Greek may help us to think differently about him and his ministry. For many years it was common to envision Jesus as growing up in the countryside of Galilee, far removed from multi-cultural hodge-podge of the Roman Empire. But this idealized view of the rustic Jesus is far from the truth. Though he grew up in a small town, he was not at all cut off from the broader Roman world.

In fact Jesus grew up with ample exposure to Greco-Roman language, culture, commerce, politics, religion, and philosophy. When he eventually entered Jerusalem to confront the Roman and Jewish authorities there – and to give his life in the process – Jesus was no naive country bumpkin making his first trip to the big city. Rather he was well aware of powers and perils he faced, and he faced these knowing, as he ultimately said to Pontius Pilate (in Greek, I believe), “My kingdom is not from this world” (John 18:36).    Given the Holy Spirit, not just excellence of English translations of the Bible by translators who have mastered all of the relevant languages, it’s not necessary for the ordinary Christian to learn Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic in order to understand the teaching of Jesus .and his teachings.. In fact too many Hebrew , Aramaic and Greek speaking persons are still very ungodly  persons.

Also Jews are no longer a race. There is no genetic code passed from either mother or father to the child that makes that child a Jew. It is only a cult, religion, culture. Genetics might indicate that ones ancestors were Jews, but that does not, in fact, make one a Jew. Even if all, or some, of the genetic code in a child proved to be of Jewish origin, that would not make the child a Jew. Jewish law determines who is a Jew, and Jewish law is quite clear. If a person’s mother is a Jew, and that person has not converted to another faith and wishes to identify solely as a Jew, then that person is considered fully Jewish. In addition, a convert to Judaism is fully Jewish. Although one cannot convert to become a member of a race (for example one cannot convert to become an Asian or an African-American), one can convert to become a Jew. If someone who is Asian or African-American converts to Judaism, that person obviously remains an Asian or an African-American, and at the same time is a Jew. However, if one converts from Judaism to another faith, one is no longer a Jew.

Satan wants you to think of the verse “ and so all Israel shall be saved “ , but in reality it  means that all who trust Christ as Savior and Lord , not any unbelieving Jews will be saved. Only a small remnant of Jews still will accept Christ after he has poured out his wrath upon them for their constant rejection of him . Christians and  the current non-Christian Jews also do worship different gods ,  The Jews do not, did not  truly honor Christ as the promised Messiah , but are looking for another that will come in his own name . An Antichrist in reality.

The Talmud  itself speaks of absolute mockery and hatred for Jesus Christ and all Christians. An unbelieving Christ rejecting Jew will go to the same hell that an unbelieving Gentile will go to . The more interesting fact is, when did  most of Jews stop worshiping God? Before or after Jesus was born? Rather before and after..

THE BIBLE TENDS TO BE MORE OF A RECORD OF THE JEWS, HUMANITIES WRONGS DOINGS. UNDENIABLE EXAMPLES OF SOME MAJOR JEWISH PERSONS, LEADERS  WHO DISOBEYED GOD IN THE BIBLE

There is still a  “ Very Serious Problems Spiritually  With The  Messianic Jewish Congregations .” as they clearly are Unchristian..

Today when any persons tells me that they are “Torah-observant” then all kinds of alarms go off. It may be that they are just into Hebrew roots‘ – but usually it is a lot worse than that

You are a Messianic Jew? But there really is no such thing in the whole New testament.. all the Jews became Christians.. https://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2012/08/04/the-dangers-of-the-hebrew-roots-messianic-movement/

It is a fact that if you base even your Christian theology on the Old Testament alone you will be in serious error. Major, major error.

https://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2013/12/28/you-are-a-messianc-jew/

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”  Even the Messianic Jews are falsely as antagonistic to Christianity as traditional Jews are. For Messianic Jews to respond with such a level of disdain brings to mind the words of Paul, “You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?” And, “If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.” The Messianic Judaism  is now falsely  obsessed with taking over from both religions, especially Christianity. Messianic Judaism is no longer  a proper conduit especially suitable for spreading spiritual  Christian truth precisely because it has not obtained the status of either Non-Messianic Judaism or real Christianity. Judaism and Messianic Judaism are both embroiled in religious politics and the insatiable desire for wealth and power. Messianic Jews seem to want to wrest power and resources away from Christianity and be corrupted by the same influences that have so greatly hindered Christianity’s effectiveness.

If Messianic Jews truly believe in what they practice, what does it matter if Christians, Jews, atheists, or anyone else criticizes them?  Instead of worrying about Jewish acceptance, Messianic Jews should occupy themselves with knowing God and being accepted by Him. Instead of falsely  battling Christians, Messianic Jews should seek to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”[3] and “Love your neighbor as yourself,” for “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Messianic Jews should work on growing spiritually and building each other up, that they may glorify the Lord. “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Instead of their falsely focusing on proving to Christians that the Torah is still in effect.. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.” Become real Christians not merely still  pretenders, imposters, wolves in sheep clothing. AND WHEN YOU DO NOT DO WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO THESE SAME RATHER LITTLE BAD CHILDREN INSULT YOU, SLANDER YOU, DIVORCE YOU, OSTRACIZE YOU, BAD MOUTH YOU.  And does  God still show false partiality? to the Christians? or to the Jews? Arabs? NO.. they all will reap what they sow, had sowed on this earth as well as here after.

It may surprise you to discover that the New Testament never uses the term ‘chosen’ to describe the Jewish people. It is only used of those who follow Jesus.   Reality  is that the New Testament never uses the term ‘chosen’ to describe the Jewish people. Chosen now it  is only used of those who follow Jesus.. reality!

MANY JEWS, EVEN MESSIANIC JEWS LIE ABOUT CHRISTIANITY

https://jesussayscome.wordpress.com/2014/11/18/many-jews-even-messianic-jews-lie-about-christianity/

The Christian Apostle Paul was so strong against the Judaizers. He saw that Christians were being tempted – not to place their faith in Christ alone – but rather in Christ PLUS the keeping of the Law. It was no longer a simple trust in JESUS to be their righteousness. They now started to feel they had to keep the letter of the Old Law too – in order to be truly “holy”. And so they became “Judaized”. The Judaizers were insisting that you could not be saved without adhering to the Jewish law. This is the worst religious trap possible.

The Apostle Peter opposed the Judaizers by reporting on how God poured out His Holy Spirit on the gentiles: “So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why do you test God by putting a yolk on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” Acts 15:8-10

The Apostle Paul and Barnabas testified to the miraculous works of God among the Gentiles. James pointed out how this was the fulfillment of many prophecies and he declared: “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality and from things strangled and from blood.” Acts 15:19-20

The conclusion of the Jerusalem Conference is recorded in Acts 15:22-29. In it the Apostles, elders and brethren of the Church in Jerusalem dissociated themselves from the Judaizers who were “unsettling your souls” by requiring observance to Jewish ceremonial law “to whom we gave no such commandment.”

The council decreed: “For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:” to abstain from idolatry, immorality and blood. There is no mention here of the Jewish Sabbath or any of the many distinctiveness being insisted by modern Judaizers.

So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why do you test God by putting a yolk on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” Acts 15:8-10

Those who today are seeking to reject our Christian calendar and Reformation heritage and bring us back under Jewish culture and law need to read the words of the Apostle Paul: “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not… obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of Faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 3:1-3

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage … and I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from Grace.” Galatians 5:1-4

The Scriptures further teach: “Let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon, or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.” Colossians 2:16-17

Christians are “dead to the law by the body of Christ” (Rom. 7.4). Before being saved a man is “in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death” (v.5) and Hell. Hence, if you live by the law even a law unto yourself, you will die by that law and be eternally separated from God. Such a law might be trying to keep the Sabbath or not eat a certain type of food or performing certain rituals. “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter” (v.6).

The next time you come across a Messianic Judaizer, simply say you reject their Christ because we are called Christians, not Messianic Judaism Jews or Messianic Judaism Gentiles, for Jesus filled up the law (Matt. 5.17).

https://postedat.wordpress.com/2011/11/10/falsely-torah-observant-jewish-and-gentile-messianic-judaism/

The New Testament Scriptures also makes it now certain that the national restoration of Israel after the flesh is not a part of the revealed will of God, but that the reverse is true. God regards natural Israel earthly kingdom with utter detestation, and He will never restore it next

When John the Baptist preached to the Jewish people, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand,” he was not announcing the setting up again of the earthly throne of David for Israel as many Jews, some professing Christians falsely hoped, believe it would happen again.

http://mccainvrsobama.wordpress.com/2013/06/16/clearly-the-zionists-are-still-immoral-and-unbiblical/

Rom 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone; 33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed..

How to pray for Jerusalem, Israel, Jews

j

Christians have been praying for the peace of Jerusalem, and yet, there is still no peace today in Jerusalem. Far from it! Great civil unrest exists in Jerusalem amongst Jews, Christians, Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians. Should we still pray for the peace of Jerusalem? Messianic Jews especially and some well-meaning Christians take an isolated verses and demand that we all pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They use the book of Psalms: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” (Psalm 122:6). Some of these supposed brethren claim that if we pray for peace to come to Jerusalem, then that will make Jesus Christ come back to Earth quicker.

People who urge us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they are not rightly dividing the Word of God as per 2 Timothy 2:15 . It is worth noting that Jesus nor his disciples had preached this, had asked us all to do so.. Never once did even our Apostle Paul in his epistles, Romans through Philemon, instruct us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Are we praying primarily for a political peace?  Of course, political peace is good and an asset to all parties.  But the peace God desires must mean a fundamental change of heart and action on the part of all those who live in Jerusalem and the surrounding area.  Such peace must include developing a spiritual peace with Jesus Christ for all and thus a health and wholeness for all peoples. We must pray for the Israeli’s breakdown of thier false resistance to the Gospel and to bring all of Israeli’s to know now their own Messiah, Jesus Christ.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Luke 19:41-42 “He saw the city and wept over it, saying ‘If you had known, even you, in this day the things that make for your peace!’”

Zechariah. 7:8-14) “‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’ But they refused to pay attention; stubbornly they turned their backs and covered their ears. They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the Lord Almighty was very angry. ‘When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations, where they were strangers. The land they left behind them was so desolate that no one traveled through it. This is how they made the pleasant land desolate”

Most of the capital in Israel, the wealth and the media, are in the hands of about 15 families. They control almost everything in Israel – from the price of cheese to the outrageous rate of rent. Money is the name of the game, not righteousness, and in that game those who have nothing are doomed to poverty. Those who have little will soon join the ranks of those who have nothing, and those who have much will become richer.

Matthew 20: 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Luke 23 :28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Acts 21:13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Consider 1 Thessalonians chapter 5: “[1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. [2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Zionist  Christians and Jews citing the Bible to support their policy positions   are thinking politically, not honestly. When you build a bridge from biblical Israel to modern Israel, there is an enormous gap in history and theology.  The word “widow” in the Hebrew of the Old Testament does not only mean a woman without a husband. Its Biblical meaning is much broader than the one we ascribe to it today. It means a woman, a city or a nation who is in ruin, who has no provider and no one to help her manage her life. Jews and Jerusalem today included, Luke 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Israel now has no longer any national status before God today. Israel has no special relationship with JEHOVAH. She had such a relationship in the past but it is was terminated when the Jews killed our Lord Jesus Christ. snf nrct the temple in Jerusalem was completely destroyed.

God is focused today on the Church, the Body of Christ instead. Ephesians 2:6-7: “[6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: [7] That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”

In the Lord’s Prayer,” we read in Matthew chapter 6: “[9] Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven, and so that is really God’s will today. Should we pray for the peace of Jerusalem today? No and why not. The re-establishment of Israel? No. We need to pray in accordance with God’s will, not misquoting Bible verses, and repeating them to God, all corrupted and muddled up. Let us not be distracted by claiming Israel’s past promises, verses and promises and making thema false part of our prayer life. That is sure to bring about to all rather unanswerable confusion and misery.

“If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men” (Romans 12:18).

If you reach into the Old Testament and say, ‘God has given the Holy Land to the descendants of Abraham,’ but the question is whether the modern state of Israel is that nation that God had was imagined for today back in the Bible.

Galatians 3:29, Apostle Paul says, “If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring.”

.

Why Israel lost its right to the promised land

israel

The biblical answer to that question is that God alone determines the “rights” that any of us have. Something is right or wrong because of Divine decree, not human feeling or human reason. The existence of God previous to the creation of the universe and mankind gives Him the right to determine our “rights.” the Bible does not teach us to be partial to Israel or to the Palestinians because either has a special divine status.
 .
Nor do I deny that God promised to Israel the presently disputed land from the time of Abraham onward. God said to Moses, “This is the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, ‘I will give it to your offspring'” (Deuteronomy 34:4).
.
But neither of these Biblical facts leads necessarily to the endorsement of present-day Israel as the rightful possessor of all the disputed land. Israel may have such a right. And she may not. But that decision is not based on divine privilege. Why? The Christian plea in the Middle East to Palestinians and Jews is: “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).
 .
The privileged right to the land are conditional on Israel’s keeping the covenant God made with her. Thus God said to Israel, “If you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples” (Exodus 19:5). Israel has no warrant to a present experience of divine privilege when she is not keeping covenant with God.
 .
Israel was chosen for three purposes:
1. to worship God in this land and show the world the blessing of serving the one true God of the Universe;
2. to receive, record and transmit the Word of God (through them we have our Bible);
3. to be the human channel for the Messiah from whom we have our salvation.
“The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth” (Deuteronomy 7:6).
 .
Israel as a whole today rejects her Messiah, Jesus Christ, God’s Son. This is the ultimate act of covenant-breaking with God. God promised that to Israel “a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6-7). But with tears this Prince of Peace looked out over Jerusalem and said, “Would that you . . . had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. . . . You did not know the time of your visitation” (Luke 19:42-44).
 .
And why does Jesus have Gentile and not a Jewish name?
 .
When the builders rejected the beautiful Cornerstone, Jesus said, “The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits” (Matthew 21:43). He explained, “Many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness” (Matthew 8:11-12)
 .
Aaron will be gathered to his people because he will not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel because you rebelled against Me at the water of Meribah.” (‭‭Numbers‬ ‭20:24‬ ‭MEV‬‬)
 .
God has saving purposes for ethnic Israel (Romans 11:25-26). But for now the people are at enmity with God in rejecting the gospel of Jesus Christ, their Messiah (Romans 11:28). God has expanded his saving work to embrace all peoples (including Palestinians) who will trust his Son and depend on his death and resurrection for salvation. “Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since God is one. He will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith” (Romans 3:29-30).
 .
Abraham himself looked neither at the Ur or the promised land, but to heaven itself: Heb 6:19; 9:11,24
 .
Heb 11:8-19 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance… he lived as an alien in the land of promise… he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God…All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.

“Can a religious Jewish person be saved apart from faith in Jesus?” No. No matter how religious, no one can be forgiven of their sins and accepted by God without personal faith in Jesus It was to Jewish men that Jesus spoke when He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Think of it this way: If there were some other way for Jewish people, or any people, to be saved other than through faith in Jesus, then God the Father would have been a fool for letting His Son die on a cross! If keeping the Law of Moses could save people, Jesus would have told people to keep the Law. But instead, Jesus declared that Jewish people and all people need to trust in Him: “If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me” (John 5:46).

 Jewish expectation of the MILLENNIUM
 .
The Jewish leadership at the time of Jesus falsely expected a political, an earthly kingdom, a re-establishment of the nation of Israel in a physical or political sense under the rulership of the Messiah. They were not satisfied with a spiritual kingdom (cp. Jesus’ words to Pilate, where he described his reign, his kingdom as “not of this world (age)”) but rather insisted in their conviction of how they (mis)understood the Scriptures that Messiah would establish an earthly kingdom with Messiah as a literal political king.   The Jews forfeited any and all claims to the kingdom because of unbelief. The “nation” that bears the fruit of the kingdom of God is the church, the Israel of God. The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 21:43, says: Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. When John the Baptist, referring to Jesus of Nazareth, proclaimed, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” he was not only pointing to Messiah but he was announcing the end of Judaism and the Old covenant.  Matthew 23 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. Luke 1335 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Acts 1 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.Judas Iscariot is the example of the Jews who reject Jesus, nation of Israel. John 13 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;
.
Galatians 3:16-19 16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. 18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.
 .
And Jeremiah says that God has the right regarding a nation “to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it…”
Psalm 37:9 “For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth.”
And Jesus in Matthew 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
Romans 2:8-11  but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness — indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.
Romans 2:28-29 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the  heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
Romans 3:29-30 29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the
uncircumcised through faith.
Romans 4:16 “Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.”
The Church is the final object of the love of God in Christ [John 17] and there is nothing to follow the church. When Christ returns at the end of
this ‘present age’ the ‘age to come’ continues forever.
Romans 4:13-14 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Romans 10:12-13 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

 Christian expectation of the MILLENNIUM
 .
Christians today who are expecting an earthly kingdom with Jesus as a political world ruler who will reign the world from a physical throne at Jerusalem are making the same or a very similar mistake as the Jews in Jesus’ day? Why would Jesus come back as an earthly world ruler when he did not come as such when he first was present as a physical person? Is the truth not rather that Jesus after his ascension into the presence of God (heaven) received his reign over his spiritual kingdom from the hands of his Father (cp. Dan 7:13-14) and that he since reigns and that indeed —  just as the angel Gabriel had announced to his mother Mary — of his kingdom (reign) there shall be no end (cp Lk 1:33)? Why should Christians wait for the beginning of Christ’s reign at a yet undetermined time in the future, if he already reigns and we are to submit our lives to him already now? Also, if that kingdom of Christ has not come as of yet, we would still be living  in the same age as Christ lived, the Old Testament age, and the end of that world (that age) would not have come as of yet … do those who teach a yet future coming of the kingdom and coming of the king realize such implications of their teachings? Note also the “kingdom of God is at hand”, not yet future.
 .
Ignorant of the Bible people are overlooking the general truth that the Old Testament period had earthly and physical things as types and shadows, while the New Testament realities corresponding to those types and shadows are of a heavenly and spiritual nature. It is not that Gentiles will be saved in the manner of Jews, but that Jews will be saved in the manner of Gentiles!  While a vast numbers of Jews may be saved through the Gospel message at the end of the age  but I do have a problem with the idea that all of Jews will be saved because of their birth certificate.
 .
The focus of the Bible is the church and not national Israel  as the First Principle of Interpretation is on how you view the focus of the Bible. The Jews or the church is an essential point. The true church is found in both the OT and the NT. By the ‘church’ I mean those Gentiles and Jews chosen by God and who believe the same Gospel that true Christians preach today  as it was instituted on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2.
 .
“And so all Israel will be saved….” All Israel will be saved, but again, who or what is “all Israel”? TheChrch There has always been only a “remnant” of Israel after the flesh included in God’s elect. There never was a generation of Jews who were all saved. Salvation is effected through the gospel by faith. Romans 10:1-17
 .
The mystery of the ages is not that there would be the church but rather the make-up of the church. The mystery that has been revealed is that the true church has always been made of Gentiles and Jews. The church is the total number of the redeemed and includes only individuals who were saved by grace one at a time. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’ ” Romans 1:16-17. verse 18! “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and  unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.”
Galatians 1:6-9 6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
 .
God deals with individuals and not nations in the matter of eternal salvation.
 .
God has always included the Gentiles in the number of His elect.
 .
Of course the Bible is about both the Jews and the church but what is its end objective, its focus!
 .
Amillennialism is by far the most dominant eschatological position in the history of Christianity. (“Eschatology” refers to the doctrine of “last things,” meaning the end times.)
Hebrews 1:1-2 i “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,” writes the author of Hebrews,” but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe” (NIV).
the phrase “last days” is associated with the first coming of Christ. Likewise, 1 Peter 1:20 tell of the “last days” being associated with Christ: “He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.”
 .
God is finished with Israel as a national entity.  Christ has won the decisive victory over sin, death and Satan. By living a sinless life and by dying on the cross as the sacrifice of atonement for our sin, Christ defeated sin. By undergoing death and then victoriously rising from the grave, Christ defeated death. By resisting the devil’s temptations, by perfectly obeying God, and by his death and resurrection, Christ delivered a deathblow to Satan and his evil hosts. This victory of Christ’s was decisive and final. The most important day in history, therefore, is not the Second Coming of Christ which is still future but the first coming which lies in the past. Because of the victory of Christ, the ultimate issues of history have already been decided. It is now only a question of time until that victory is brought to its final consummation. the kingdom of God was founded by Christ at the time of his sojourn on earth, is operative in history now and is destined to be revealed in its fullness in the life to come. They understand the kingdom of God to be the reign of God dynamically active in human history through Jesus Christ. Its purpose is to redeem God’s people from sin and from demonic powers, and finally to establish the new heavens and the new earth. The kingdom of God means nothing less than the reign of God in Christ over his entire created universe.
 .
The kingdom of God is therefore both a present reality and a future hope. Jesus clearly taught that the kingdom was already present during his earthly ministry: “But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you” (Mt. 12:28, NIV). When the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was coming, he replied, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, `Lo, here it is!’ or `There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you” (Lk. 17:20-21).
 .
We must remember that even though Paul was writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit did not reveal to him or to anyone else the time of the Second Coming (Mark 13:32; Acts 1:7)
 .
Massive confusion exists within Christian churches about the “Millennium,” a unique thousand-year period depicted in the book of Revelation.  Revelation 20 in its entirety:
 .
“1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the east, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20, King James Version, with verses left in)”
 .
Two significant facts should be noted: Revelation 20 doesn’t say there will be peace on earth during the 1000 years.
 .
Revelation 20 doesn’t say Jesus Christ will rule during the 1000 years from the present city of Jerusalem.
 .
Historical Other texts make it clear that when Jesus returns, those left behind will be destroyed, not given another chance during some hypothetical “seven-year Tribulation” (which, by the way, is nowhere specifically referred to in the Bible). 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 – When Jesus returns in flaming fire, the lost will be destroyed.
 .
Revelation 16:17-18 – At Armageddon, cities crumble around the world.
Revelation 6:14; 16:20 – Every island sinks, and all the mountains disappear.
Jeremiah 4:23-26 – Planet Earth is totally devastated, with “no man” left alive.
Jeremiah 25:30-33 – Those slain by the Lord lie dead, unburied, all around the world.
Revelation 19:17-18, 21 – The birds eat the flesh of every human being worldwide.
These verses teach that those not “caught up” when Christ returns will be destroyed, and the destruction will encompass all the earth, as it did during Noah’s flood. Jesus Himself taught this. “The flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the son of man be” (Matthew 24:39).
Verse 5a – “The rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished”
Verse 7 – “When the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison”
 .
At the end of the 1000 years, “the rest of the dead” are raised, and Satan is “loosed.” Therefore the raising of the “rest of the dead” is what  “looses” the devil. Satan then swoops into these resurrected nations (now alive in the four corners of the earth), deceives them again, and then gathers them for the grand finale (verses 8-9).
 .
What does all this mean? The answer will come shortly after we examine a few more crucial points. What should be clear so far however, that the common notion of the Millennium, reflected in Left Behind, leaves much to be desired. In fact, it’s completely bogus.
 .
The word “millennium” is not in the Bible, and neither is the concept of premillennialism found in the Scriptures. A look for “thousand year reign of Christ” or “millenial reign of Christ” or even “millenium” and “thousand year kingdom” in the Bible produces nothing … in other words, such terms are not even used in the Scriptures.  This verse does not say that Christ reigned one thousand years, it does say that those witnesses who had been killed for their witness of Jesus and the word of God reigned “with Christ a thousand years”.
 .
We do note immediately that Rev 20 does not speak of a thousand year reign of Christ. We do read the following in Rev 20:4:… and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, … and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
 .
Consider for example the following points.
There is no mention or indication that this reign is an earthly reign over a kingdom in a political sense.
There is no mention about the resurrected witnesses living again in a human body on earth (a “bodily resurrection”).
There is no mention about Christ coming or returning to earth or Jerusalem.
There is no mention that Christ and the resurrected witnesses live on earth at that time.
There is no mention of Christians or the church in general as having been resurrected and living on earth.
There is no mention of the believers being resurrected a thousand years before the unbelievers.
There is no literal reign of Christ over an earthly kingdom. Christ is presently reigning over a spiritual kingdom in either:   (1) the hearts of
men;  (2) heaven, or (3) the church. The 1,000 years is a symbol representing an extended period of time.3 Many amillennialists believe that the fullness of the kingdom has already arrived on earth and we are presently in the age between the first and second resurrections. “Generally speaking, this view holds that Christ will return in His second coming and immediately usher in the new heaven and the new earth with no intervening thousand-year reign. This view interprets many
 .
Some examples from various passages of Scripture will illustrate the use of the word “thousand” in this type of expression.
 .
Deu 7:9Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which  keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
1 Chr 16:1515 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a  thousand generations;
Job 9:3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
Psa 50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Psalm 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
Eccl 7:28Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.
Dan 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
 .
So we read about “thousand years”, “thousand generations”, “thousand hills”, “thousand (people)” etc. In each of these passages it is clear that the reference is not to a literal “1000” of these things, people, years, but that the number is meant figuratively or symbolically. “Thousand” them can mean “many”, or “something whole or complete”, etc. but not exactly 1000 of whatever is in view in a literal sense.
 .
Many passages in the Old and New Testaments that refer to the millennial kingdom as being fulfilled in a nonliteral way, either in the present experience of the church on earth or the experience of the church in heaven.”4 For example, Jerome: “The saints will in no wise have an earthly kingdom, but only a celestial one; thus must cease the fable of one thousand years.” 5
 .
The premillennialists place the return of Christ just before the millennium and just after a time of great apostasy and tribulation. After the millennium, Satan will be loosed and Gog and Magog will rise against the kingdom of God; this will be immediately followed by the final judgment. While similar in some respects to the dispensational variety (in that they hold to Christ’s return being previous the establishment of a thousand-year earthly reign), historical premillennialism differs in significant ways (notably in their method of interpreting Scripture).
 .
Reality :Israel and the church: the church is the fulfillment of Israel. Revelation and the various judgment prophecies in the Gospels, believing that the majority of those prophecies were fulfilled in 70 A.D. at the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. the Kingdom of God was inaugurated at Christ’s resurrection (hence the term “inaugurated millennialism”) at which point he gained victory over both Satan and the Curse. Christ is even  now reigning (hence the term “nunc-millennialism” — nunc means “now”) at the right hand of the Father over His church.
 .
After this present age has ended, Christ will return and immediately usher the church into their eternal state after judging the wicked.  The Rapture: The saints, living and dead, shall meet the Lord in the clouds and immediately proceed to judge the nations with Christ and then follow Him nto their eternal state.
 .
The amillennial perspective emphasizes that the coming of the Kingdom of God is a two-part event. The first portion dawned at Christ’s first advent (John the Baptist proclaimed at this time, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand” — Matthew 3:2). At the cross, Christ won final victory over death and Satan. And then He ascended to reign upon the throne of David forever (Luke 1:32-33; Acts 2:30-31). Now because we “look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18) — because of this, the amillennialist sees the final things already
accomplished, though not yet seen by sight, but by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7).
 .
An important note is the amilleniallist’s view of the church in this world: a role of suffering. The Christian will be hated by all, just as was Christ (Matthew 10:22), for a servant is not greater than his master. Seeing this as the church’s role on earth — to suffer as did Christ — the amillenialist can hold no hope for an earthly exaltation and longs for the fulfillment of the second stage of the coming of the Kingdom.
 .
This second stage of the amillennial perspective is the final consummation of all the heavenly promises. The Christian will no longer see by faith alone, but by sight. All the shadowy things will pass away and our eternal reign with Christ will begin. The amillennialist, expecting no earthly glory for the church, places all his hope on this heavenly glory.

Galatians 2:6 God shows personal favoritism to no man
Galatians 3:7-9 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
Galatians 3:26-29 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 4:21-31 21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and the of the freewoman through promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar —
25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children –26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written:”Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children Than she who has a husband.” 8 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.” 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
Ephesians 2:19-22 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God

HRM is a modern form of the Pharisaical-Judaizing

“The more I hear from proponents of the HRM the more I am persuaded it is a modern form of the Pharisaical-Judaizing heresy condemned in Scripture. More broadly I think these criticisms also apply to a large part of the Messianic Christianity movement  The problem is that what is attracting them is not a better understanding of the gospel at all but something straight from the pit of Hell. Consider this (dates approximate):
 .
AD 39-40: The Church in Jerusalem concluded that God has rescinded the Mosaic Law’s Jew-Gentile separation provisions (Acts 10-11).
AD 49-50 (the exact order of the following series is immaterial to the points being made):
 .
Paul confronts Peter and Barnabas for their hypocrisy in separating themselves from Gentile believers in the Church in Galatia.
Later, Paul writes to the Galatians to warn them in the strongest terms against (supposed) Christians who were teaching them that Gentile believers needed to keep the Mosaic ceremonial/worship laws in order to be right with God.
The Church concluded that Gentile believers ARE NOT to be subjected to the ceremonial/worship provisions of the Mosaic Law (Acts 15).
AD 62-68 (again, the exact dates for writing each of these is immaterial to the points made):
 .
Paul writes (First) Timothy, offering him instruction for his pastoral duties (Ephesian Church).
Paul writes to Titus, giving him counsel on his pastoral duties (Cretan Church).
Paul writes further instruction to (Second) Timothy in the discharge of his pastoral duties.
In all three letters one of the critical issues Paul addressed was the heresy of the Judaizers, those who would require Gentile Christians to practice the Mosaic ceremonial/worship laws.
Did you follow the progression of these things? From eliminating Jew-Gentile separation, to removal of Mosaic law provisions on Gentiles, to fighting against those who would place Christians back under slavery to the Mosaic Law. This is as serious as it gets. This is a matter of life and death. Accordingly, the Scriptures speak of these things in the hardest terms. You can see this in the Scriptures themselves:
 .
And he [Peter] said to them [the Gentiles in Cornelius’ household], “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. So when I was sent for, I came without objection. I ask then why you sent for me.” (Act 10:28-29 ESV)
 .
[Peter speaking to the Jewish Christians in the Jerusalem Church] “If then God gave the same gift to them [Gentile Christians] as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?” When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.” (Act 11:17-18)
 .
Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in– who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery– to them we did not yield in submission even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you. (Gal 2:4-5)
 .
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. (Gal 2:15-16)
 .
For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” (Gal 3:10)
 .
You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. (Gal 5:4)
 .
I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves! (Gal 5:10-12)
 .
But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them [Gentile believers] and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”
 .
The apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter. And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them,
 .
Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?” (Act 15:5-10)
 .
As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith. (1Ti 1:3-4)
 .
The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions. (1Ti 1:5-7)
 .
Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. (1Ti 4:7-8)
 .
If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. (1Ti 6:3-5)
 .
O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,” (1Ti 6:20)
 .
This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and the commands of people who turn away from the truth. (Tit 1:13-14)
 .
But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned. (Tit 3:9-11)
 .
Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. (2Ti 2:23-26)
 .
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. (2Ti 3:1-5)
 .
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. (2Ti 4:3-4)
 .
Consider the severity with which Scripture speaks about the teaching that ceremonial/worship aspects of the Mosaic Law still apply to Christians. Emasculation! Devoted to myths! Foolish controversies! Depraved minds! Puffed up with conceit! Unhealthy cravings! Warped, sinful, self-condemned! In the very same passage where Paul teaches us to correct with gentleness he observes that those who buy into the HRM are trapped in the snare of the Devil! Clearly gentleness does not preclude hard words.   Hebrew Roots Movement folks unwisely are adopting practices and habits, accouterments of a “Jewish” lifestyle that actually are derived from a heretical source. These folks do not seem to realize that with the destruction of the Temple the practice of a Jewish form of Christianity ceased to be an option. The core of OT worship was the sacrifices; all of Leviticus, the key book in terms of Jewish life and worship (i.e., life = worship, worship is life), is built around the sacrifices. They were essential to the maintenance of even the smallest component of the law of cleanliness, etc.. Without sacrifice one CANNOT rightly practice any of the OT worship system.
 .
And when the Temple was destroyed – that was it. All that was left was the Pharisaical/Rabbinical traditions. All that was left was the ethical teaching of the rabbis (the Talmudic tradition) coupled with the imitative worship practices, the “616” applicatory traditions of the Pharisees. Outside the book of Acts we actually do not have any Church exclusive sources of what first century Jewish Christianity was like. All we have are sources that at best seek to interpret what Jewish Christianity must have been like based on similarities with second and later century Diaspora Judaism. It is amazing that Messianic Christians think they are practicing a purer form of Christianity. In reality, they are practicing a form contaminated by unbelieving Jews who maintained their rejection of Jesus as the Messiah.  Quite simply, those who would restore a Jewish form of Christianity are actually restoring the Pharisaical form at best, something condemned by Jesus and done away with at his express command (e.g., Acts 10, 15, the books of Galatians and Hebrews in total). All the practices adopted in Messianic congregations have as their source Rabbinic Judaism, that branch of Judaism that refused to repent of their rejection of the Messiah when in A.D. 70 God removed the earthly temple and left standing only the true spiritual temple, the Church of Christ. The Hebrew Roots Movement, Messianic Christianity, while well intentioned, is yet another deflection from the simple, pure gospel of Jesus Christ. It is based on the heresy of rabbinic Judaism, NOT first century Jewish Christianity. It in the end, like all forms of Jesus + me Christianity, teaches a defective gospel.  “

MESSIANIC JEWS ARE NOT CHRISTIAN

MESSIANIC

Jesus Christ is the God of Christianity, of all real Christians. Jesus himself had began a New Religion Called Christianity . Jesus came to earth and began a new religion, separate from Judaism that he first introduced to the Jewish people. But the Jews have rejected Jesus and his new religion. and anyone who wasn’t Jewish was a Christian or a Gentile. A Jewish identity meant one thing: Jews don’t believe in Jesus. Jewish leaders, at the time of Jesus in Jerusalem, in addition to the Jewish shouted , “Crucify Him! Crucify Him! and thus had killed Jesus. When Jewish People embrace Yeshua, they don’t convert to Christianity and not the real Jesus Christ. They remain Jews and do not become Christians. All, even the Jewish People do need to convert to Christianity; In John 8:58, Jesus Christ actually declared not only His pre-existence but also took upon Himself the name of God as revealed to Moses in the burning bush: “Amen, amen I tell you, before Abraham was born, I am.” Jesus nor his disciples lived and died as observant Jews in Israel.

Is the Christian movement that goes by the name “Messianic Judaism” a form of Judaism? In essence, so-called “Messianic Jewish” groups claim that they represent a “completed form of Judaism” or “completed form of Jewishness” or “Biblical Judaism.” In actuality, self-styled “Messianic Judaism” is a counterfeit form of Christianity that follows the rabbinic Judaism. There are radical differences between Judaism and Christianity. Traditional Christianity depicts Judaism as an incomplete religion because it does not include a sole belief in Jesus. Judaism is not and has never been an incomplete form of Christianity. Judaism is a different religion from that of the Christian ones that have developed over the last two thousand years; including the Christian movement that goes by the name “Messianic Judaism.” Any attempt to artificially blend the two is deceitful, demonic, erroneous.

What makes Christianity Christian is its belief in “Jesus Christ: Son of God, God incarnate.” The early Christians replaced Torah with Jesus as the access to God; soon forgiveness of sin was said to be possible only through belief in Jesus. Theological reflection on the significance of Jesus ultimately led to the doctrine of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Jewish Identity of Jesus Is Meaningless to non Jews, Gentiles, Christians. Messianic Jewish movement” have often presented a confused and contradictory theology. All present-day Christian denominations and sects are theological offshoots of the first century mostly ex gentile churches that had developed separate and distinct from first century Jewish groups . Since the first century, Christianity has been at odds with most of rabbinic interpretation. belief of the Gentile church for the Torah is irrelevant to salvation has became the dominant doctrine in the New Testament all Christianity. The Christian community was distinguished from Jewish Christians by its lack of traditional Jewish practice.

Judaism and Christianity are entirely different and essentially unrelated religions. Judaism and Christianity are entirely different and essentially unrelated religions. The two religions bear different messages and distinctive meanings, each for its own faithful. The Christian concept of God is not the Jewish concept of God; in essence, their God is not our God. One cannot replace Torah with Jesus and still have a reason for Judaism or truthfully call the new entity “a form of Judaism.” The respective adherents to Judaism and Christianity are part of distinct and separate faith communities.

Any self-defined Christian today that claims Torah observance is incumbent upon Jewish-born Christians would be considered as heretic by other Christians. Fabricating a counterfeit ritual and cultural milieu, this self-styled “Messianic Jewish movement,” creates a false illusion of adhering to a false form of first century Jewish Christianity as practiced by the early Jewish followers of Jesus. The ritual and cultural milieu they depict never existed.

It is impossible to preserve the cultural aspects of the Jewish people while replacing the spiritual, the theological, and the salvific grounding and reason for that culture with a non-Jewish faith system. Jewish religious life finds its theological and spiritual meaning through the life of Torah, not through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

There is a common understanding among Jews of all denominations that Judaism, understood as the culture and religion of the Jewish people, contains all they need to achieve spiritual fulfillment, that is, salvation. Anyone who is not a real Christian still ends up in hell

One of the saddest stories in the Bible is the story of the Jews rejecting their own Messiah. After spending millennia desperately waiting and anticipating His arrival, most Jews didn’t want Him. They rejected what he taught, now stood for. While Jesus taught a strict form of partial Judaism, enforcing narrow divorce laws there were a few teachings, however, that devout Jews found hard to swallow. The first was that He could forgive sins. Jews believe the forgiveness of sins is a much more involved process than one man’s word. They also believe that if sins are forgiven so easily, it will only lead to more sin. Secondly, Jesus’ teaching to love our enemies and pray for them. This is anathema to the long-suffering Jews who have been persecuted so harshly by so many. It also sounds contradictory to laws in the Old Testament, such as Deuteronomy 17:7, which says to purge evil “from your midst.” The disconnect was that it is good and appropriate for a nation to have and enforce good laws, and to go to war for just causes but Jesus taught that our own dealings should be filled with grace and mercy.

Jews also do not accept Jesus’ teaching that He is the only way to God. With a religious system based on restitution and sincere repentance, Jews have no need of an intermediary to reach God. They reject the need of forgiveness and salvation since they have theory own religion and they also still do not believe mankind has a sin nature, they do not believe any reasonable, attentive person can sin so much that they cannot find forgiveness through their own effort. Their pride in their strict adherence to the law of the Old Testament blinded them to Who Jesus is. Paul says in Romans 9:30-32: What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone.

There are no New Testament promises of any future blessings for Jerusalem, or Israel but only some of them y will come to accept Jesus as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).

All real Christians differ in many ways from Messianic Jews including history, beliefs, dress, and practice. Messianic Judaism itself is a relatively new phenomenon. Jews falsely still do believe that an anti-Semitic view of the Messiah’s life and death is a main theology in Christian Europe for thousands of years. … yet the New Testament teaches that there is no distinction between Jews and Gentiles: 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26-28)

Messianic Jews Tend to Use false Jewish Symbols the Christian Does Not use. And there is not evidence that any of the early Christians they attempted to look and dress like Jewish rabbis as many male Messianic Jews do. The New Testament demonstrates the apostles did not appear to look like Jewish rabbis or Levitical priests. When, for one example, the Apostle Paul was arrested, the authorities did not recognize him as a Jew, but thought he was an Egyptian (Acts 21:37-38). Paul had to tell the military commander he was a Jew (Acts 27:39). Thus, Paul did not look like a Jewish rabbi, nor was he apparently wearing distinguishing phylacteries or tzitzits as the Messianic Jews do. Christian males are not to have their heads covered when the pray: 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. . . 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. (1 Corinthians 11:4,7) Many Messianic Jews do pray with their heads covered. Messianic Jews tend focus on improper aspects of outward appearances and traditions of Judaism.

.
Jews for Jesus are advocating Jewish conversion and assimilation to Christianity, while Messianic Jews are advocating a new sect of Judaism built around a false Jesus, Torah observant lifestyles, and preservation of Jewish identity. Jews for Jesus is a repudiation of Judaism and a Christian missionary organization with the end goal of getting Jews converted and into the Christian church. The beliefs of Jews for Jesus and Messianic Jews produce two vastly different worldviews, sharing perhaps only the Messianic claims of Jesus. The adherents to each live different lives, eat different foods, worship differently and with different congregations, and pass on different values to their children. Messianic Jews are Jewish people who do not follow Jesus as they generally observe the Torah and see their identities within Israel, rather than as Christians..

Who where or are the Judiazers?

MESSIANC (7)
.
In Acts 15,  some Jews, likely   Pharisees they  did not like the implications of Gentile free, by grace, salvation that Apostle  Paul was preaching as they want everyone falsely to keep their abandoned, obsolete Judaic religion still just like many falsely do today.  These persons had  lied that  Gentiles had to become Jewish proselytes first, and only then they could come to Christ. Such as the Messianic Jews do lie today too.
.
These  Judiazers  falsely went into Christian churches established by Paul and taught that circumcision was required for converts to Christianity.  Jews that falsely desire to impose the Mosaic law on Gentile converts – Judiazers.  A wrong, carnal desire “to  live as a Jew in accordance with Jewish customs. ”sought to supplement Pauls gospel by requiring that the basics of the Law be followed: circumcision and food laws.,  and who prefer to use the name of Yeshua, the Jewish name for Christ, not his real Greek name Jesus.
.
In the statement made by Paul in Galatians 6:12-13 that gives us an insight into who the false teachers may have been. They are people that think that by compelling Gentiles to be circumcised they might avoid persecution for the cross of Christ.  As some Jewish Christians  falsely thought that by making Gentile Christians conform to the basics of the Law they might avoid persecution by the growing radical elements of Judaism. Galatians 6:12-13 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that try to compel you to be circumcised—only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. Even the circumcised do not themselves obey the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
.
Could a person be faithful to God and not keep the key elements of the Old Judaic covenant? Yes but can a Gentile be a member of the people of God and allow himself to be circumcised?  Can a Gentile be “free in Christ” and keep the Jewish laws concerning food, festivals, etc.?  The answer in Galatians is a resounding no.
.
There have always been those liars who balk at the idea of God’s salvation being offered freely to those who believe in Jesus . They reason that  a holy God must require some kind of payment from u so we can earn this salivation as well or  something that we can do to pay off the debt we owe to God  Judaize comes from a Greek verb meaning “to live according to Jewish customs.” The word appears in Galatians 2:14 where Paul describes how he confronted Peter for forcing Gentile Christians to “Judaize.” 14 But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter   before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
.
Paul made the case that, in Christ, there was no longer any distinction between Jew and Gentile, for God had purified the hearts of the Gentiles by faith (Acts 15:8–9). He said it plainly in Galatians 2:16: “A man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.”
.
To add anything to the work that Christ did for salvation is to negate God’s love and grace. We are firstly saved by grace alone, through faith alone, not by returning to the Law. “I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing” (
Galatians 2:21).
.
Therefore I say unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to another nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” Matthew 21:43
 .
There are many groups today with beliefs/practices very similar to the Judiazers of the New Testament. The same type of persons who demanded that the romans murder, kill Jesu Christ. A modern  list of Jesus “haters” of which the most prominent ones  would be the Hebrew Roots Movement , Mormon, Seventh Day Adventists, the Watchtower slaves included. .And the Hebrew Roots Movement is not just about observing the Jewish holidays., not observing Christmas and Easter. The ultimate goal of many in the Hebrew Roots Movement is to put Christians under the bondage of the Old Testament Law, with strict adherence to all of the obsolete Mosaic  commands.  The premise of the Hebrew Roots movement is the belief that the Christian Church following Jesus has rightfully veered far from the  Jewish teachings and Hebrew concepts of the Bible.   There  now is no requirement for Christians (New Covenant believers) to live in bondage to Old Covenant regulations. Jesus fulfilled the Law, all of it, not just some of it. What Jesus’ death means for the sacrificial system, it also means for the rest of the Law. Jesus died to free us from sin and its penalty. Jesus did not die to transform us into Jews and place us in bondage to the covenant that God made exclusively with the nation of Israel.
.
The Hebrew Roots Movement and the others are a perfect illustration of Solomon’s statement that “there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Essentially, the Hebrew Roots Movement are the Judaizers that the Apostle Paul thoroughly refuted in the Epistle to the Galatians:
.
Galatians 2:16, “Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.”
.
Galatians 3:11, “Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, ‘The righteous will live by faith.'”
.
Galatians 5:12, “As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!”

The mistake of the Hebrew Roots Movement is the same mistake of the Judaizers. They fail to understand that Jesus fulfilled the Law (
Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:15).
 .
In place of the Old Testament law, we are under the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2), which is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and to love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). If we obey those two commands, we will be fulfilling all that Christ requires of us: “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:40).
 .
First Timothy 4:3 says that, in later times, false teachers will “forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.”
 .
If by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace” (Romans 11:6). Praise the Lord, “Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5:1).
.
And also take  Acts 7:48-49, which says:  “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL: WHAT HOUSE WILL YE BUILD ME? SAITH THE LORD: OR WHAT IS THE PLACE OF MY REST?”
.

The fanatical goal today also  of both Zionist Jews and Judaizer Christian evangelicals is to build up a Jewish Kingdom here on earth, with Jerusalem, the Great City, as its capital. This carnal, worldly objective drives the Zionists and Judaizers ever onward. Their aim of course, is to physically establish the throne of God in earthly  Jerusalem and watch as a Jewish Messiah appears to reign over what they expect will be a 1000 year-long Jewish empire and dominion. Many are funding efforts to rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, which they expect will be a house and a place of rest for the Lord.  God has other plans. God, you see, is Lord of the entire universe. His Glorious Kingdom is not limited to Jews only..

Why do most Jews, Messianic Jews reject Jesus?” Choose Yeshua instead

“Why do most Jews, Messianic  Jews  reject Jesus?”  The Answer: What   do they do with Jesus Christ?   These Jews rejected Jesus Christ  because He failed, in their eyes, to do what they expected their version of the Messiah to do—destroy evil and all their enemies and establish an eternal kingdom with Israel as the preeminent nation of  the world. Dream on..

.

One of the saddest stories in the Bible is the story of the Jews rejecting their own Messiah. After spending millennia desperately waiting and anticipating His arrival, most Jews didn’t want   Him. There are no New Testament promises of any future blessings  for Jerusalem, or Israel but only some of them y will come to accept Jesus as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).

GOOD” people and Good  Jews included unlike the mostly bad Jews they do NOT murder children or other helpless human beings, Good people do not LIE – ESPECIALLY in matters that will cause untold misery death and destruction. Good people do not promote homosexual perversion – infanticide – pornography – white slavery – racism – blasphemy – mockery of our Lord Christ – indulge in usury – commit treason – rejoice in the suffering of their victims – support universally evil ideologies such as Marxism – profit at the expense of the misery of others – promote the destruction of Christian belief – commit genocide – commit MONUMENTAL hypocrisy – purposefully deceive others – engage in ‘selective’ censorship – LITERALLY worship money – torture helpless human beings – excel at miserliness and greed – exalt themselves above God – routinely break the Ten Commandments with NO remorse. As the reader can plainly see

.

Jesus undeniably is but an object of strong hate and derision to most  Jews.

.

The Lord Jesus Christ warned His followers, “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves (Matt. 7:15). The warning was important because Jesus later said to them: “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore be shrewd as serpents, and innocent as doves” (Matt. 10:16). The apostle Paul, with a deeply troubled spirit and in tears, penned a similar warning: “I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock” (Acts 20:29).

.

Without ANY doubt the vast majority of those termed ‘JEWS’ are ALL guilty of most if not ALL of these crimes against man and God. To confuse matters even more – there are Jews who consider themselves as ‘converts to Christianity’ yet are in reality the greatest enemies of Christian belief imaginable. They call themselves MESSIANIC JEWS

.

Real Christianity is a tough road to follow and the ‘gate’ is straight and narrow. A  real TRUE Christian,  a rare commodity in today’s morally bankrupt world,  is a good person and does not do bad things

.

The prophecies in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 describe a suffering Messiah who would be persecuted and killed, but the Jews chose not  to focus on His crucifixion. The Jews believe  that their Messiah, the prophet which Moses spoke about, would come and deliver them from Roman bondage and set up a kingdom where they would be the rulers. Two of the disciples, James and John, even asked to sit at Jesus’ right and left in His kingdom when He came into His glory. The people of Jerusalem also thought He would deliver them. They shouted praises to God for the mighty works they had seen Jesus do and called out, “Hosanna, save us,” when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey (Matthew 21:9). They treated Him like a conquering king. Then, when He allowed Himself to be arrested, tried, and crucified on a cursed cross, the people stopped believing that He was the promised prophet. They rejected their Messiah (Matthew 27:22). Two thousand years after He came to the nation of Israel as their Messiah, Christ is still (for the most part) rejected by the Jews

.

Jews fail to believe that they are being held responsible for the death of Jesus Christ and are being persecuted for that reason, and thus will continue not to be blessed any longer by God

.

There is a misconception in the Jewish world: the mistaken belief that all Messianic Jews are Jews for Jesus . In reality, Jews for Jesus and Messianic Jews are not at all the same thing.

.

Jews for Jesus are advocating Jewish conversion and assimilation to Christianity, while Messianic Jews are advocating a new sect of Judaism built around Jesus, Torah observant lifestyles, and preservation of Jewish identity.

.

The beliefs of Jews for Jesus and Messianic Jews produce two vastly different worldviews, sharing perhaps only the Messianic claims of Jesus. The adherents to each live different lives, eat different foods, worship differently and with different congregations, and pass on different values to their children.

  • Jews for Jesus is a Christian missionary organization whose goal is to convert Jews to Christianity, with the end result of Jews assimilating into the Christian gentile church. This organization does not generally believe the Torah is applicable any longer. Most Jews for Jesus converts are not observant, and hold the usual Christian beliefs about Israel, the Torah, and Jesus: Israel has been replaced by the Christian Church, the Torah is no longer applicable, and that Jesus came to start a new religion. They see themselves as outsider missionaries and evangelists sent to get people saved by accepting Jesus into their hearts. Jews for Jesus  the Christian missionary organization, most certainly see themselves as Christian! As  “Judaism never saved anybody”; they absolutely see themselves as Christians and Definitely-Not-Judaism.
  • Messianic Jews – that is, the people of Messianic Judaism, believe the Torah remains relevant and applicable. Instead of gentile Christian churches that often result in assimilation, Messianic Jews have their own congregations, modeled loosely after conservative Judaism’s services and halakha. They believe Jews remain God’s chosen people. They see themselves within Israel, rather than as outsiders. And they believe Yeshua was the Jewish Messiah who came not to start a new religion but to fulfill the role of Messiah, which included bringing salvation to the nations and ultimately delivering Israel, bringing final peace. These people don’t understand that, what has been “nailed to the cross” is our past SINS, and God’s Torah/Divine Instructions in Righteousness!

.

Messianic Jews thus are still religious Jewish people who claim to follow Jesus but falsely  observe the Torah and see their identities within Israel, rather than being as foreign Christian missionaries from the outside. One community aligns with  Christianity, and the other aligns itself falsely with Torah observant Judaism.

.

The sad  reality on the ground is Messianic Jews are not Jews for Jesus. Jews for Jesus should  be the face of all things Messianic.

.

Jesus did bring a new “religion” into the world .  Jews for Jesus is a valid Christian missionary organization aimed at converting Jewish people into the Christian church.

.

The problem with Messianic Jews is..(1 Tim 1:7 KJV) Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

.

Why do Messianic Jews falsely  refer to the Jewish Messiah as “Yeshua “ when Jesus was His given a Greek name of Jesus by his heavenly and earthly father?  Yes Judaism   vehemently denies that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. The original New Testament Bible was written in Greek and Yeshua is not found at all in either the Old or New Testament  https://asposed.wordpress.com/2015/09/19/who-lied-and-told-you-that-jesus-himself-had-spoken-hebrew-mainly-firstly/

.

1st John 2:22-23, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”

.

Most Jews today, who are followers of Judaism, claim to believe in the God of Moses; but the Bible now calls them antichrists and condemns them to spend eternity in Hell.   2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9  “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”  Every human being who refuses to obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ  will be cast into the Lake of Fire forever.

.

All Messianic Jews who claim to love and worship God the Father, while rejecting God the Son, Jesus Christ are deceived. God is now angry with them for rejecting His Son (John 3:36).

.

Romans 4:3-6, “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works.”

.

Thus, we are saved solely by Christ’s righteousness, which is imputed to us by faith alone. A man’s faith is COUNTED for righteousness. We cannot be saved by our own self-righteousness or our Jewish race, ; but rather, solely by God’s righteousness which is in His Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”

.

Messianic Jews, Judaizers today, just as most Jews, Muslims, are looking for their  own version of the savior to return. Unfortunately, the savior they are looking for, and will wholly embrace when he comes, is solely the Antichrist. The Antichrist who will stand in the temple in Jerusalem (2nd Thessalonians 2:4). As they all   adamantly reject the true Savior, Jesus Christ; they will both eagerly embrace the false savior, the man of sin, the Antichrist and suffer for it too..

.

“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” —Acts 4:10-12

.

Jews and Messianic Jews in desperation are falsely trying to maintain their own Hebrew religious identity and  falsely reject a Christian version of it..

.

The New Testament itself now had  castigated the Jewish people and Israel and has minimized their presence in the promised land, and  has specifically said that they are no longer God’s Chosen People.

.

Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”

.

In reality still too many in the Messianic Jewish community tend to spend falsely an inordinate amount of time arguing with the Christian community over doctrines, traditions, and ideas but they are not so quick to create such heated disputes with the unbelieving Jews .

.

The are many many major wrong approaches by the Messianic Jewish movement. One of the dangers in the national and international scene is a feeling they are always right, superiors. When a group has the attitude of superiority, they quickly do alienate many others. We all have much to learn from one another. God can unify and blend us without any group or individual controlling and manipulating others. Another great problem facing Messianic Judaism is the desire for control, they are wrongfully control freaks.. In Messianic Jewish literature and many have noticed one consistent trend: authors intensely try to justify Messianic Judaism while heaping bitterly numerous criticisms on Christianity .

.

Now it comes as a surprise, again, that Messianic Jews criticize Christianity even more harshly than Judaism, which rejects Jesus as the Messiah and hates Him. It appears that Messianic Jews are as antagonistic to Christianity as the traditional Jews are. It brings to mind the words of Paul ,” You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarrelling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

.

Messianic Judaism has become so preoccupied with justifying its existence that it is now obsessed with taking over from both religions that of the Jews and the Christians, but especially Christianity. This is a dangerous road that removes the focus of Messianic Jews from their relationships with God and places their focus on worldly endeavors which is the reason they are going to hell still, Like Apostle Judas. .

.

Messianic Jews are mostly liars, trouble makers, Christian haters, unchristian,   weird or “off the mark” as Messianic Judaism is a “doctrine of demons and Torah observance itself is a “doctrine of demons. And they misquote the Bible to justify their lies. Yahweh – God gave us a new Covenant through Jesus, and abandoned the Torah! The Law and also the Jewish temple was abolished for all. Christians no longer walk in Torah, they are not keeping the Biblical feasts, or the seventh day Sabbath thus. No matter who instituted Sunday worship, After Christ’s death both Christian Jews and Christian Gentiles alike, regularly attended church for worship on Sunday.

.

All Messianic Jews claim that the Hebrew bible (which contains same new testament section as Christian bibles) and Christian bibles are all equally  the Word of God and are fully applicable today.  They come on Christian television shows and other Christian venues calling down God’s wrath on Gentile nations for not adhering to the fifty year debt jubilee, for not adhering to other of the statutes and judgments God gave to the Jews.

.

The Gentile nations were not given a Temple of God, therefore not commanded to tithe for tithing is in relation to God’s Temple.  The tithes of the Jews were brought to the Temple priests to be used as God commanded, and the tithe was a portion of one’s agricultural production (Deut. Ch. 26).  Anyone who tithes to a church is throwing his money down a sewer, is supporting the operation of what is an institution of Satan; Christian churches are of Satan, not God.

.

Isaiah 42:3   A bruised reed [evil nations] he shall not break and smoking flax [evil nations] he shall not quench, until he shall bring forth judgment unto truth

.

Jesus Christ was very center of the one and only religion of the Bible, both Old Testament and New. The religion of salvation by Faith and not by one’s works. God has but one plan of salvation for all mankind whether Jew or Gentile. Both Jews and Gentiles have one Messiah, Jesus Christ. Both have their sins forgiven only by His blood, the “blood of the Lamb.” Both are saved by grace, as the apostle Peter told the Christians when he said “But we believe that through the grace …of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.” Acts 15:ll Both will stand before the throne of God together condemned or redeemed. It may seem strange then, that Jesus was constantly even today opposed by the religious Jews, was being accused of breaking the Jewish law, of undercutting their entire religious structure, and of trying to deceive the Jewish nation but the false Jewish way of life, their own religion of Salvation was at stake.

.

Jesus on earth now did not enjoy a life of peace and tranquility. The Jewish religious leaders, who should have been the spiritual eyes of the nation, falsely harassed Jesus throughout His earthly ministry. And wrongfully do so today as well. The religious controversy between Jesus and the Jews over a walk of faith was not only one in the drama of Jewish history. There has been a religious controversy throughout and the principle actors have been the self proclaimed religious persons like Cain who also had wanted to style his own religion, offering the sacrifices of his choice. He even ended up murdering his brother, who chose to be loyal to God and follow the sole instructions God had given. The Jews next even killed their God sent prophets and even Jesus Christ to keep their own false distorted religion of Judaism next too.

.

Will we too now worship God as He has asked us, and remain loyal to the principles of Faith in Him? Or will we worship Him after the manner of our own choosing, after the traditions of men, all inspired by the rebel angel, Satan. “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world,, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8

.

and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9).

.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee(Revelation 3:9).

.

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God (Romans 2:28-29).

And no liars would enter the Kingdom of Heaven: For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie (Revelation 22:15).

.

So  YES! God save us from the demonic evil of the treacherous lying  Jews, Zionist Jews.

The Messianic Jewish victim of the California attack Nicholas Thalasinos before being murdered had argued profusley with the California shooter Syed Rizwan Farook about Islam .

Nicholas Thalasinos, 52, one of 14 fatalities, had heated debate with co-worker Syed Rizwan Farook Only two weeks ago, Thalasinos was having a heated on-the-job discussion about the nature of Islam with Syed Rizwan Farook, his fellow restaurant inspector and the man police identified as the Californis Muslim office shooter loudly declaring that Farook “doesn’t agree that Islam is not a peaceful religion, The details came to light as investigators tried to determine whether the rampage that left 14 people dead was terrorism, a workplace grudge or some combination. Nicholas Thalasinos, 52, often defended Israel, and actively debated religion in online forums and in person,. While Thalasinos’ argument may have triggered the attack at their office party, it is quite clear that the Farook family had been planning to do something big.

“How dare that infidel say Islam is not a religion of peace! I will make him pay for such blasphemy with his life!” Syed Rizwan Farook A media outlet in California has reported that he told his would-be victim “You will not see Israel”. The County knew he was a problem. Why didn’t they terminate his employment? The attack was triggered (incited) by a Jew.The Muslim was simply defending his non peaceful religion.

Farook, a 28-year-old US citizen, and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, 27, a Pakistani national who was in the United States on a K1 (fiancee) visa carried out Wednesday’s rampage at a holiday party at the California center. They were killed in a shootout with police hours after the attack. Farook and Malik had a six-month-old baby that they left with Farook’s mother before the shooting, according to a relative.

There is a misconception in the Jewish world: the mistaken belief that all Messianic Jews are Jews for Jesus . In reality, Jews for Jesus and Messianic Jews are not at all the same thing. Jews for Jesus are advocating Jewish conversion and assimilation to Christianity, while Messianic Jews are advocating a new sect of Judaism built around Jesus, Torah observant lifestyles, and preservation of Jewish identity.

What about the laws of Moses are they applicable today

When Jesus was on earth, he kept the laws of Moses — but he also criticized them. Soon after he went back to heaven, his followers met to decide whether any Christians should keep the laws of Moses. The question came to the foreground when people who weren’t Jewish began to follow Christ: “Some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, ‘The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses’” (Acts 15:5).. Anyone who knew the teachings of Jesus would already know that unbiblical traditions were not required. They did not need to debate about Jewish traditions.

Jesus also said that the greatest among you would be the servant of you all (Matthew 23:11).

Jesus in the gospels asked Peter: “Peter, do you love me?”, to which his Apostle answered “ Yes.”Jesus then says: “Feed my flock.”

Jesus is calling upon his disciples not just to walk daily with him and listen to his daily words, he is also calling upon all of his disciples to respond always in love,  this Obedience is not works to earn salvation, but rather the result of our trust in the Lord. Obedience demonstrates our real trust, respect, and love. Obedience is the confirmation  of our spiritual condition.

If you personally do know Jesus Christ, the holy Spirit they will lead and guide you into all truth, and help you to keep away from sin.. something the ten commandments do not do.. If you personally do  not know Jesus Christ, the holy Spirit then what  does it matter as you are headed to Hell anyway. How do you recognize if a person is a true Christian, or what is a Christian? “

It is amazing how new testament Bible ignorant persons falsely dispute the facts about Jews, Israel and Messianic Jews.. The New Covenant, the New testament, has replaced the Old Covenant, the old Testament.. the New Covenant is not a continuation of the old but it’s substitute. Judaism, plus JEWS are now dead to God and is Satanic! “…I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” —Revelation 2:9

MATT 22-35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

SO WHY DO MANY  NEGLECT THE REST OF THE NEW TESTAMENT? JESUS WAS ALSO TALKING TO A JEW SOLELY,

I KNOW OF ONLY TWO COMMANDMENTS  HE JESUS  ASKED US ALL TO OBEY, SO WHY ARE SOME CONTRADICTING JESUS AND CLAIMING THERE ARE OTHERS? REALLY.

Really now does Jesus” say to all if you love me keep my commandments, the MOSAIC Law and Jesus gave his disciples “a new commandment”and not the old commandments,

DO EVEN ANY OF THE APOSTLES CONFIRM THE OBSERVANCE OF THE DEAD NOW JEWISH LAWS?

Keeping the Sabbath,  This commandment has been one of the distinguishing features of the Jewish Religion. The Sabbath is meant to be about making life easy, but the Jews complicated matters by legislating what could or could not be done on the Sabbath. They created so many laws that the Sabbath became a burden to the people; rather than the blessing it was ordained to be.  https://postedat.wordpress.com/2012/06/01/christians-pretenders-who-hold-to-the-saturday-sabbath/

It would be impossible for anyone to observe all the commands that are applicable to the Jews, of which there are 613 according to Maimonides And for the 613 commandments to be kept, the Temple at Jerusalem would have to be built and a priesthood and the system of sacrificial offerings would have to be instituted. The same one God rather destroyed.

For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what is strangled and from unchastity. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell. (Acts 15:28–29)

https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2015/03/10/yes-the-new-covenant-is-not-a-continuation-of-the-old-testament/

YOU ARE NOW A JEW OR A CHRISTIAN AND BUT NOT BOTH FOR BEING JEWISH MEANS FOLLOWING THE JEWISH RELIGION SOLELY AND NOT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION.

Peter reminded the people that God had used him to preach the gospel to Cornelius and his family (Acts 10). Cornelius was not circumcised, but Peter did not use that as proof. Rather, he focused on the foundations of how a person is saved—by believing. “God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith” (vs. 8-9). God gave the Holy Spirit to this uncircumcised family, purifying their hearts, calling them holy, as acceptable to him, because of their faith. Peter then began to scold the people who wanted the gentiles to obey the laws of Moses: “Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are” (vs. 10-11). Peter’s point is that the yoke of Moses was a burden that the Jewish people were not able to keep successfully. Those rituals showed that, no matter how hard people worked, they could never be perfect. They showed, for anyone who ever wondered, that works can never lead to salvation. Salvation is attained in a different way—by grace. We can’t earn it, so it has to be given to us. Since the law of Moses cannot bring us salvation, there is no need to require the gentiles to keep it. God gave them the Holy Spirit and showed that he accepts them without all those rituals. They are saved by grace, and the any believing Jews are, too. “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God” (Acts 15 v. 19). There is no need to require the yoke of Moses, for that would make things unnecessarily difficult for the gentile believers. James then suggested four rules: “Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood” (v. 20).

Since the Law of Moses includes all the laws that Moses gave ancient Israel, it includes the Ten Commandments. But shouldn’t Christians keep the Ten Commandments? “You are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts…. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Cor. 3:3-6). “If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!” (verse 9). The Ten Commandments were a ministry that condemned people. They had some glory, but not nearly as much as the new covenant. The Ten Commandments cannot bring righteousness, but the new covenant does. The Ten Commandments, Paul is saying, came with glory, but they are fading away, just as surely as the glory of Moses’ face also faded. The new covenant not only has much greater glory, but it also “lasts.” The Ten Commandments, Paul implies, do not last forever. They were designed as a temporary “ministry of condemnation,” designed only for the Jews. Paul says that the Ten Commandments, although good, are temporary and fading. Paul is saying that there is a fundamental change in the way people relate to God. The old way is a written law that condemns people to death. The new way is the Holy Spirit, which brings forgiveness and life. The Spirit leads us to obey God, but it is a fundamentally different relationship, a different basis of relating to God. But despite his clarity of Apostles Paul Preaching, message, many people did not accept the gospel: “But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts” (verses 14-15). Many people today, Jewish or not, do not seem to understand. They keep reading the Bible with old covenant eyes. The only solution is Christ. Only in him can the “veil” be removed. “Whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away” (verse 16).

What does it mean to “turn to the Lord”? It means to see Jesus as the basis of our relationship with God. It means seeing our identity in him, not in the Law of Moses. Christ becomes central. We obey his law, the law of Christ (1 Cor. 9:21). When we put him first in our identity, he will help us see the covenantal change more clearly.

Much of the Old Testament is a story. Nevertheless, 2 Timothy 3   since it is part of Scripture, it is “useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” Stories can help inform our ethics. They can illustrate consequences, misunderstandings, weaknesses and flexibilities. The story of Abraham and circumcision is useful for teaching and for training in righteousness without requiring us to practice circumcision. The commands about sacrifice are to be read as part of a story, not as commands for us today. The details may be useful symbolically, but they are read first in the context of a story, not as currently valid laws.

And yet one of the false teachings, of Messianic Jews, Seventh Day Adventist is that the Torah (the law of Moses) was not abolished by Jesus’ death upon the cross. Rather, it continues on, its commands (at least some of them) being bound upon the church, and its obligatory force continuing until the return of Christ. The error in this affirmation is egregious, not to mention contradictory. It concedes the Torah has been fulfilled, and yet contends it must be “kept” today—even the least of its obligations. This stands in sharp contrast to the teaching of Christ, as well as the writers of the New Testament. The Mosaic regime was never intended to be a permanent institution. The notion that the Torah would continue in effect until the Second Coming of Christ—as some have alleged—is utterly without biblical support.

Apostle Paul stated that “as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse” (Galatians 3:10). The law and the curse were joined, as the apostle declared that: “we are no longer under a tutor [the law]” (24-25). How can that point possibly be ignored? The former covenant was replaced with a “better covenant” (cf. Hebrews 8:6ff)—unless, of course, one wishes to rip the entire book of Hebrews from the Bible.  Paul reminded all  Christians that prior to their conversion to the Lord, they were “dead through [their] trespasses.” But they were made “alive” together with Christ, who forgave all their sins. The apostle then contends that Christ “blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:13-14).

When the Son of God “fulfilled” the law, it had not failed, fallen, or been destroyed; it had been completed. Thus it no longer was a law to which the Jews, or anyone else, were obligated to obey as a legal system. To fail to recognize this truth is to overlook one of the most fundamental propositions of the New Testament  biblical literature.

For the woman who has a husband, is bound by law to the husband while he is living; but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. So if then, while the husband lives, if she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man. Wherefore, my brothers, you also are made dead to the law [Torah] through the body of Christ; that you should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God (Romans 7:2-4).

The Mosaic laws would remain intact until such a time as it is fulfilled. This fulfillment is the very thing Jesus declared he came to accomplish! Thus the law was fulfilled, hence, it does not remain an obligatory system today.

https://asposed.wordpress.com/2015/10/16/what-did-jesus-mean-when-he-said-before-he-died-that-it-was-finished/

Those who rely on works of the law are under a curse.” “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us” Galatians 3:12 However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us– for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE “—14 in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.. All of the law’s demands have been fulfilled by Christ’s perfect law-keeping, its penalty fully paid by his death. This is why the Bible teaches that getting right with God is not based on law-keeping: “A person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ” (Galatians 2:16). Our only hope is having the blood and righteousness of Christ credited to our account.

Christ’s death thus removes — expiates — our sin and guilt. The guilt of our sin and shame was taken away from us and placed on Christ, who discharged it by his death.

John 1:29,  Jesus “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”

Isaiah 53:6 says, “The Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on him,”

Hebrews 9:26 says “He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”

Romans 5:10-11: “For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.”

https://asposed.wordpress.com/2015/10/14/what-jesus-christ-did-by-his-death-on-the-cross-for-us/

What Jesus Christ did by his death on the cross for us

A new covenant for all Jews, gentiles, does not keep the Sabbath as it is not the Old Covenant that was solely to the Jews,

As Jesus , God himself, died on the cross for our sins so that we might be forgiven when we trust in what Christ has done there and what  specially did he do for us:

More Scriptures that tell us what Jesus did on the cross.

  1. He laid his life down for us, John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
  2. Demonstrated the greatest act of love, John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”
  3. Reconciled to God, Rom. 5:10, “For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”
  4. Justified us, Rom. 5:18,  “So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.”
  5. He died to sin, Rom. 6:10, “For the death that He died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.”
  6. Died for our sins, 1 Cor. 15:3, “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.”
