Romans 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
Most Messianic Jews will still go to hell if they have not abandoned their false practice of Judaism..
In the New Testament it is clearly the Jews, Israel of today are defined now still as being cursed and only all the Christians all blessed in Jesus instead. Regardless of one’s ancestry, a person can only become God’s child by repenting and extending a trusting-submitting and obeying faith in Jesus Christ. In the New Testament it is clearly the Jews, Israel of today are defined now still as being cursed.. and only all the Christians all blessed in Jesus instead. Regardless of one’s ancestry, a person can only become God’s child by repenting and extending a trusting-submitting and obeying faith in Jesus Christ. The blessing given to Abraham comes to all, the non-Jews (Gentiles or Greeks) through faith in Christ Jesus. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 1 Corinthians 3:11-14 Romans 1: 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Christians and the current non-Christian Jews also do worship different gods , The Jews do not, did not truly honor Christ as the promised Messiah , but are looking for another that will come in his own name . The Talmud itself speaks of absolute mockery and hatred for Christ and Christians.
CHRIST – the anointed one- Greek for Messiah (anointed one) is Christos, Christ in English. Thus, “Jesus Christ” joins a name and a title, and means Jesus the Messiah. Christ, Messiah, Anointed One. The title “Christ” or “Anointed One” Gk. Christos “Cristov” occurs about 350 times in the New Testament.. The word christos means a person HOLY SPIRIT anointed . The Greek name for an individual “Christos” rendered “Christ” in Scripture, the basic of the term Christian now as well, comes from the Greek word “chrio” means to anoint with oil, the symbol of the Holy Spirit, one can tell if any person is a Christian cause they also can see the evidence of the holy spirit’s anointing.. so now we all can be anointed one inspectors of all Christians now too. Luke 4:18-19 (Wey) [Jesus:] “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners of war and recovery of sight to the blind: to send away free those whom tyranny has crushed, to proclaim the year of acceptance with the Lord.”But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. . . . As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit–just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:20, 27; The word christos means a person so anointed and the word chrisma refers to that by which a person is anointed. John uses chrisma in these two verses, not speaking of the object being anointed but of the instrument of anointing. Additionally, we find a word christianos in Acts 11:26, which means “one belonging to the Anointed One,” just as Herodianos would mean “one who belongs to Herod.” As the ultimate Prophet, King and Priest, Jesus Christ was anointed when he began his earthly ministry. This anointing was predicted by Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 when he said that the Spirit of the Lord would come upon the Messiah. In God’s time, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, we are told the Holy Spirit came upon him when he came up out of the water. In other words, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that without measure. When Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1,2 in the synagogue of Nazareth, saying, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,” he was announcing to the people that he was the Messiah prophesied by Isaiah long ago and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit was now resting upon him. Not only is Jesus Christ anointed, but the Bible tells us that every believer in Jesus Christ is also anointed. We are kings, priests, and prophets under the Priest, Prophet and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. We find references to this in many places. John the Baptist said there was another person coming after him, mightier than himself, who would baptize people in the Holy Spirit and fire. In Acts 1:5 the Lord Jesus Christ himself speaks of this, saying, “For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” This was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, as we read in Acts 2:4: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” The Greek word for anointing is chrisma, from which we have the word chrism. Chrisma appears several times in 1 John 2:20 and 27. It comes from the root word, chriô, which means to rub something or someone lightly with a substance like oil or lotion. Thus, when John writes in 1 John 2:20, “But you have a chrisma, an anointing,” he was referring to the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every believer.;
Now “the Israel of God” includes all who belong to Christ, Jews and non-Jews alike. Being a part of the Israel of God is the privilege of all who abide in Christ, because Jesus is true Israel, God’s chosen One.
“Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all” (Colossians 3:9-11).
Galatians 3: 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
St. Paul: The converted now Christian Apostle Jews Love to Hate. He was a Jew from Tarsus, in what is today southeastern Turkey, and a Roman citizen. His Jewish name was Saul, but Paul his Roman one. He made his way from Tarsus to Palestine, where he became a virulent opponent of the growing movement that Jesus had launched, He was later to devote himself to spreading the message of Jesus, whose followers had accepted him as the Christ (the anointed), which was the Greek equivalent of the anointed Messiah. According to the Acts of the Apostles the word “Christian” first came into use at Antioch, applicable to those anointed as well. Paul’s emphasis of non-Jewish Christians seems set in motion the detachment of Christianity from its Jewish origins. Paul proclaimed in his letter to the Galatians that there was no difference between slave and free, Jew and Greek, and male and female: “You are all one in Jesus Christ.” In doing this Paul separated all Christians from the past Jewish roots of their faith. “It was also Paul who delivered the Christian religion from Judaism.” Not only were the early Roman Gentile Christ-followers pressured to disassociate from the “Jewish community”, but the mainstream Jewish community also, were not happy with their new allegiance to Jesus.
Paul never forgot that he was a Jew,” but remembering his Jewishness does not necessarily imply that he lived according to Jewish law .There is no way that he himself could have consorted with the gentile Christians if he saw himself as totally Jewish. Many they do not accept the present return of the Jews to their ancient homeland as part of any Israel restoration. As none is promised, mentioned in the New Testament.
Most Jews in Israel and abroad are still unbelievers in Jesus and therefore must be considered God’s enemies. The only character faring worse than a Nazi is the Pharisee . They hated Jesus because He threatened their security, prestige and income. He was going to ruin everything they had worked so hard for. But most of all, they the Jews hate Jesus because he claimed to be from God, and as time went on, dared to make himself equal to God. Paul’s words, “that from the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies” (Rom. 11:27). If they’re enemies of the gospel, they argue, then they are enemies of God. Paul because he had fashioned a new Religion around Jesus “the Messiah”, for the Jews had rejected that Jesus was “The Messiah” and were not ever going to recognize this new Religion of Pauls fashioned around Jesus “The Messiah”. So they hated Paul, with a vengence, they wanted him dead, 1 Cor. 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.( Greek-the Messiah)
Jews also do not accept Jesus as the messiah because specifically, he did not
- Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).
- Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
- Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4) The primary reason that Jews do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah is that after his arrival and death the Jewish world was not redeemed.
- Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: “God will be King over all the world – on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One” (Zechariah 14:9).
- Establish Israel as a dominate force, religion. The Messiah did not lead all of the people to full Torah observance.
As per Acts 10 it was revealed to Peter in a vision that the gospel was to be freely given to the Gentiles. God had to tell Peter three times that it was permitted for him to enter a Gentile home and freely give the gospel to Gentiles. This would have been a very difficult thing for him to accept. As a Jew, he had been brought up to believe that it was forbidden him to have close fellowship with a Gentile or for him to eat a meal in a Gentile home. Gentile believers did not need to submit to Jewish customs. Gentiles would not be required to offer sacrifices or keep the Sabbath day or observe dietary laws.
Paul wrote to the Galatian churches, he spoke first of those who are like the false teachers of 2 Peter 2 and 3 in that their “gospel” is not the true gospel, and their destiny does not seem to be heaven: I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; 7 which is [really] not another; only there are some who are disturbing you, and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed (Galatians 1:6-9). The Christian Jews as also today thought that being Jews made them better than Gentiles. They falsely looked upon Gentiles as sinners and upon themselves as saints
God in the Bible New Testament next Cursed the Jews and Cast Them Aside.
Jesus told the Jews, ” Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” John 8:44
Jesus Christ is the God of Christianity, of all real Christians. Jesus himself had began a New Religion Called Christianity . Jesus came to earth and began a new religion, separate from Judaism that he first introduced to the Jewish people. But the Jews have rejected Jesus and his new religion. and anyone who wasn’t Jewish was a Christian or a Gentile. A Jewish identity meant one thing: Jews don’t believe in Jesus. Jewish leaders, at the time of Jesus in Jerusalem, in addition to the Jewish shouted , “Crucify Him! Crucify Him! and thus had killed Jesus. When Jewish People embrace Yeshua, they don’t convert to Christianity and not the real Jesus Christ. They remain Jews and do not become Christians. All, even the Jewish People do need to convert to Christianity; In John 8:58, Jesus Christ actually declared not only His pre-existence but also took upon Himself the name of God as revealed to Moses in the burning bush: “Amen, amen I tell you, before Abraham was born, I am.” Jesus nor his disciples lived and died as observant Jews in Israel.
Is the Christian movement that goes by the name “Messianic Judaism” a form of Judaism? In essence, so-called “Messianic Jewish” groups claim that they represent a “completed form of Judaism” or “completed form of Jewishness” or “Biblical Judaism.” In actuality, self-styled “Messianic Judaism” is a counterfeit form of Christianity that follows the rabbinic Judaism. There are radical differences between Judaism and Christianity. Traditional Christianity depicts Judaism as an incomplete religion because it does not include a sole belief in Jesus. Judaism is not and has never been an incomplete form of Christianity. Judaism is a different religion from that of the Christian ones that have developed over the last two thousand years; including the Christian movement that goes by the name “Messianic Judaism.” Any attempt to artificially blend the two is deceitful, demonic, erroneous.
What makes Christianity Christian is its belief in “Jesus Christ: Son of God, God incarnate.” The early Christians replaced Torah with Jesus as the access to God; soon forgiveness of sin was said to be possible only through belief in Jesus. Theological reflection on the significance of Jesus ultimately led to the doctrine of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Jewish Identity of Jesus Is Meaningless to non Jews, Gentiles, Christians. Messianic Jewish movement” have often presented a confused and contradictory theology. All present-day Christian denominations and sects are theological offshoots of the first century mostly ex gentile churches that had developed separate and distinct from first century Jewish groups . Since the first century, Christianity has been at odds with most of rabbinic interpretation. belief of the Gentile church for the Torah is irrelevant to salvation has became the dominant doctrine in the New Testament all Christianity. The Christian community was distinguished from Jewish Christians by its lack of traditional Jewish practice.
Judaism and Christianity are entirely different and essentially unrelated religions. Judaism and Christianity are entirely different and essentially unrelated religions. The two religions bear different messages and distinctive meanings, each for its own faithful. The Christian concept of God is not the Jewish concept of God; in essence, their God is not our God. One cannot replace Torah with Jesus and still have a reason for Judaism or truthfully call the new entity “a form of Judaism.” The respective adherents to Judaism and Christianity are part of distinct and separate faith communities.
Any self-defined Christian today that claims Torah observance is incumbent upon Jewish-born Christians would be considered as heretic by other Christians. Fabricating a counterfeit ritual and cultural milieu, this self-styled “Messianic Jewish movement,” creates a false illusion of adhering to a false form of first century Jewish Christianity as practiced by the early Jewish followers of Jesus. The ritual and cultural milieu they depict never existed.
It is impossible to preserve the cultural aspects of the Jewish people while replacing the spiritual, the theological, and the salvific grounding and reason for that culture with a non-Jewish faith system. Jewish religious life finds its theological and spiritual meaning through the life of Torah, not through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
There is a common understanding among Jews of all denominations that Judaism, understood as the culture and religion of the Jewish people, contains all they need to achieve spiritual fulfillment, that is, salvation. Anyone who is not a real Christian still ends up in hell
One of the saddest stories in the Bible is the story of the Jews rejecting their own Messiah. After spending millennia desperately waiting and anticipating His arrival, most Jews didn’t want Him. They rejected what he taught, now stood for. While Jesus taught a strict form of partial Judaism, enforcing narrow divorce laws there were a few teachings, however, that devout Jews found hard to swallow. The first was that He could forgive sins. Jews believe the forgiveness of sins is a much more involved process than one man’s word. They also believe that if sins are forgiven so easily, it will only lead to more sin. Secondly, Jesus’ teaching to love our enemies and pray for them. This is anathema to the long-suffering Jews who have been persecuted so harshly by so many. It also sounds contradictory to laws in the Old Testament, such as Deuteronomy 17:7, which says to purge evil “from your midst.” The disconnect was that it is good and appropriate for a nation to have and enforce good laws, and to go to war for just causes but Jesus taught that our own dealings should be filled with grace and mercy.
Jews also do not accept Jesus’ teaching that He is the only way to God. With a religious system based on restitution and sincere repentance, Jews have no need of an intermediary to reach God. They reject the need of forgiveness and salvation since they have theory own religion and they also still do not believe mankind has a sin nature, they do not believe any reasonable, attentive person can sin so much that they cannot find forgiveness through their own effort. Their pride in their strict adherence to the law of the Old Testament blinded them to Who Jesus is. Paul says in Romans 9:30-32: What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone.
There are no New Testament promises of any future blessings for Jerusalem, or Israel but only some of them y will come to accept Jesus as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).
All real Christians differ in many ways from Messianic Jews including history, beliefs, dress, and practice. Messianic Judaism itself is a relatively new phenomenon. Jews falsely still do believe that an anti-Semitic view of the Messiah’s life and death is a main theology in Christian Europe for thousands of years. … yet the New Testament teaches that there is no distinction between Jews and Gentiles: 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26-28)
Messianic Jews Tend to Use false Jewish Symbols the Christian Does Not use. And there is not evidence that any of the early Christians they attempted to look and dress like Jewish rabbis as many male Messianic Jews do. The New Testament demonstrates the apostles did not appear to look like Jewish rabbis or Levitical priests. When, for one example, the Apostle Paul was arrested, the authorities did not recognize him as a Jew, but thought he was an Egyptian (Acts 21:37-38). Paul had to tell the military commander he was a Jew (Acts 27:39). Thus, Paul did not look like a Jewish rabbi, nor was he apparently wearing distinguishing phylacteries or tzitzits as the Messianic Jews do. Christian males are not to have their heads covered when the pray: 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. . . 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. (1 Corinthians 11:4,7) Many Messianic Jews do pray with their heads covered. Messianic Jews tend focus on improper aspects of outward appearances and traditions of Judaism.
Jews for Jesus are advocating Jewish conversion and assimilation to Christianity, while Messianic Jews are advocating a new sect of Judaism built around a false Jesus, Torah observant lifestyles, and preservation of Jewish identity. Jews for Jesus is a repudiation of Judaism and a Christian missionary organization with the end goal of getting Jews converted and into the Christian church. The beliefs of Jews for Jesus and Messianic Jews produce two vastly different worldviews, sharing perhaps only the Messianic claims of Jesus. The adherents to each live different lives, eat different foods, worship differently and with different congregations, and pass on different values to their children. Messianic Jews are Jewish people who do not follow Jesus as they generally observe the Torah and see their identities within Israel, rather than as Christians..
